Today we’ll talk about the interior of the LADA Vesta SV Cross, namely the seats and dimensions of this very cabin.
Vesta’s interior is one of the most spacious in its class, this is the opinion not only of mine, but of all those who have been privileged to be in the cabin of this car at least once. If we take the Cross version, it also has a spacious trunk and increased headroom for rear passengers, unlike the sedan. In terms of interior size, the LADA Vesta SV Cross is quite comparable to the C-class.
As for the quality of execution, there has been complete order for a long time! Lada is now manufactured and assembled no worse, and sometimes better, than its imported classmates, and this is a fact. The front seats are very comfortable, have average depth of lateral support, the upholstery is combined, made of fabric and eco-leather. To preserve the seat upholstery, I plan to buy eco-leather car covers for the Lada Vesta. There is a standard set of adjustments, and the driver's seat is additionally equipped with a lumbar support, which has three positions and a lift. The backrest tilt is adjustable in steps, which is a plus for me, since unfolding the backrest takes less time than rotating the “lamb.” Between the seats there is an armrest covered in eco-leather; under the armrest there is a small box. The box lid has a magnetic lock, which is extremely convenient.
The rear row of seats is not adjustable; the seat backs can be folded to increase trunk space. Since the trunk is equipped with organizers, when the seats are folded, an almost flat floor without a step is formed. If necessary, with the seats folded down, the car can comfortably accommodate two people and children for the night.
The curtain can be easily removed if necessary, but this will be discussed in more detail in the next article...
Since I have a Vesta SV Cross in the maximum luxury-prestige configuration, the rear row of seats is equipped with a folding central armrest with cup holders. Let me clarify once again, this option is only available in the highest version of the car.
All seats are equipped with height-adjustable headrests, and as for the ease of care of the upholstery, I will say that the fabric does not mark, all dirt can be easily removed with a vacuum cleaner and a damp cloth, or using appropriate auto chemicals.

Engine performance and fuel consumption
The difference between Cross and just Vesta SW in engines and gearboxes lies only in the difference in their combinations. So, a regular station wagon has 16 valve engines of 1.8 and 1.6 liters with 122 and 106 horsepower, respectively. As well as manual and “robot” gearboxes on each of these engines. Vesta SW Cross does not have a “robot” on the 1.6 liter engine. The fuel consumption of a 1.6 liter engine per 100 km is from 7 to 7.3 liters, but the 1.8 liter engine is from 7.6 to 7.8. In general, reviews about the greater technical perfection and convenience of the 1.6 liter engine can be called close to the truth, so you should think twice before than to pay more money for additional volume.
