The mid-range "comfort" Lada Vesta, already rolling off the production line in Izhevsk, has a good stereo system with a small chrome monitor.

You can get a large touch screen in the center console in the luxury package, provided that you pay extra for the multimedia package of options. The luxury version comes with built-in navigation and a rear view camera as standard. Naturally, the Lada Vesta photo interior has a completely different look with a large monitor on the center console.

The next feature of the car's interior is the ceiling. Looking at it, you can find another control unit there. It is responsible not only for the light in the cabin; there are also additional buttons.

The first button turns off the passenger safety button. The second one has the inscription SOS and is an emergency call signal in case of an accident.

By pressing this “alarm” button, you will report the incident to the police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, ambulance, and firefighters. It will also send them your car’s VIN and exact GPS coordinates. If a serious accident occurs, the system will notify all competent services without your participation.

Other components

The Lada Vesta air conditioning system provides a good level of comfort even in difficult weather conditions. The dimensions of the illuminated and cooled glove box are quite normal.

The Czech-made ignition key is made in the German style, combined with an alarm remote control and the use of a folding spring-loaded working element allows the size to be reduced.

The shape of the armrest (in the Comfort package and above) between the front seats has been simplified in order to achieve greater manufacturability in production, but does not spoil the interior. At the same time, it is secured in three positions. For reasons of manufacturability, the shape of the head restraints has been changed towards simplification.

The Lada Vesta salon managed to make a positive impression on specialists and ordinary amateurs already during the official presentation of the concept in Moscow. Features of the Lada Vesta interior include:

  1. Patterned finishing of solid elements.
  2. The attention is drawn to the simple fabric that envelops the seats. It fits well in size so that the driver and passenger feel comfortable in the car. In addition, the upholstery increases the level of visual perception.
  3. A comfortable and practical three-spoke multi-steering wheel appears in front of the driver's seat. The steering column in the “classic” Lada Vesta modification is freely adjustable in height and proximity/distance from the driver. Expensive configurations provide the owner with more expensive upholstery material and a larger number of buttons on the steering wheel itself.
  4. The dashboard of the Lada Vesta car looks like three wells. The tachometer is located on the left side, the speedometer is placed by the designers in the center, and on the right there is a rationally built-in scale showing the remaining fuel in the gas tank. The panel elements have a soft, eye-pleasing backlight and respond quickly and promptly to the driver’s inputs.
  5. When combined, two large blocks form the central console of the Lada Vesta car. On top is the multimedia system. There is a built-in unit below that regulates the climate in the cabin. Between these elements are optionality keys. The transmission sits neatly, and the lever is located slightly higher. The torpedo is distinguished by black plastic, which is offset with brighter fragments.
  6. Compared to the concept, the height of the rear seats has been changed. A third headrest appeared in the middle, and the delimitation of the area between the seats was completely removed.

The richer the car’s equipment, the more attractive, elegant and ergonomic the Lada Vesta’s interior looks. The “Comfort” modification provides the buyer with a soft door trim instead of the basic plastic one. In “Comfort”, changes to the dashboard are noticeable in the areas under the media system, and the ability to change air conditioning settings has also been added. In the Luxury interior, the designers used leather, which is combined here with soft fabric. The material is upholstered in the front seats and the rear sofa.

Salon

The main advantage of every sedan is its trunk. The interior of the Lada Vesta looks great inside the photo, but what are things like from the inside?

The very neat trunk lining is made of practical material, allowing Lada Vesta owners to happily and conveniently store purchases from any supermarket there. It doesn't even look bad. There are no longer any secrets regarding volume. The sedan's trunk can easily accommodate 480 liters of volume, and this is not counting the full-size spare wheel in the luggage compartment under the floor.

Seats

The shape of the Lada Vesta seats is such that they have become more comfortable for the driver and passengers. The shape of the backrest angle adjuster has been changed in the front seats. The driver's seat cushion is quite hard, the width and other dimensions are comfortable. The microlift of the driver's seat (in the Comfort configuration and higher) has a sufficiently high depth of adjustment, which allows a person of two meters in height to comfortably fit in the cabin. The lateral support of the Lada Vesta seat cushions is very weak and practically does not fix the body during energetic maneuvers with high lateral acceleration.

The back row of seats of the Lada Vesta has been somewhat redesigned, has become flatter and does not have a pronounced division into two halves. The backrest is made according to a split pattern, which is convenient when loading long items into the cabin. Due to the raised installation of the front seat cushions, rear passengers can freely put their feet under them, which makes their stay in the cabin more comfortable. The comfort of fit is increased by increasing the thickness of the cushion in the front part.

The rear seats are wide enough for three adults. The main disadvantage should be considered a somewhat low ceiling (the gap between the pillow and the ceiling is about 86 cm), which interferes with tall passengers if they lean back.

As a result, AvtoVAZ managed to set a new personal record - the Lada Vesta turned out to be bright and competitive. The car opened new horizons for the Russian manufacturer - many countries wanted to import the new product, and all this with a promising 70% localization. In the first six months after the start of sales, Lada broke into the top 10 best-selling models according to the AEB (Association of European Businesses). Obviously, these figures are far from the limit, and soon a sports version will appear, which will also find its fans.

  • It should be noted that Vesta now does not have a robotic gearbox. After restyling, the car began to be equipped with a continuously variable transmission, which is paired only with an engine with a capacity of 113 horses. The working volume is 1.6 liters. Acceleration to hundreds takes 12.2 seconds, and consumption averages 7.4 liters.
  • For the most advanced modifications, a third engine option is presented, with a power of 122 horsepower and a displacement of 1.8 liters. On average, it consumes 7.8 liters of gasoline and accelerates to hundreds in 10.9 seconds. Works in tandem with a five-speed manual transmission.

The seats of the Luxe, Luxe/Multimedia and Luxe/Prestige trim levels now have a new combination of fabric and eco-leather upholstery. In addition, combined upholstery made of fabric and eco-leather was available for all versions of Vesta in the “cross” version - Vesta Cross sedans and Vesta SW Cross station wagons - here the consumer can choose from two plain options, orange or gray. Lada Vesta has quite widely gained the love and demand of domestic and foreign car owners. As for reviews, characteristics and descriptions, in this regard there are only positive ones. The Russian concern does not stand still and presented the Lada Vesta 2021 station wagon to the public in a new body, configuration, prices and photos. The car will be created in two modifications: basic and Cross. It will be assembled at a specialized production site in the city of Izhevsk. The 2021 model year Lada Vesta will go on sale no earlier than the fall. The cost of the top-end configuration will be set at 570 thousand rubles. Such a price tag can hardly be imagined as budgetary for the concern.
